CM2 MeshTools SDK /demo files

• The demos are only available for Microsoft® Windows® x64.
• The CM2 DLLs in these demo packages are legacy builds (with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010) and not as efficient as the builds with the latest versions of Visual Studio.

instructions

Demos come as zip archives (such as cm2_tetramesh_iso_demo.zip) containing some CM2 Dlls and an executable.
Unpack the archive keeping full pathnames. This creates a main \cm2 folder.

Running a demo

In a console, move to the cm2\libs\Releasex64 directory and type
cm2_tetramesh_iso_demo.exe (or cm2_hexamesh_iso_demo.exe, cm2_triamesh_aniso_demo.exe, cm2_surfmesh_t3_demo.exe, cm2_surfremesh_q4_demo.exe …)
to run the test suite.

Mesh visualization

You can visualize the meshes with Nastran, FEMAP, Vizir 4 (ex Medit) or VTK.
In the cm2\libs\Releasex64 directory, type for instance
vizir4 -in TMSH2D01T3.mesh
or
vtk TMSH2D01T3.vtk
